How to buy

All products on this site can be bought direct or through your local bike shop.

Bike Shops
Please contact your favourite bike shop or one of our listed dealers. If they need more information get them to contact us. This is the preferred option.

Buy Direct
If you cannot buy through a dealer then check out the products and prices on this site and then contact us to confirm availability.

Please read the information below about delivery and payments, support and returns.

Delivery

All goods will be sent via Australia Post unless otherwise arranged. Express Post will be used for all goods under 500 grams and registered post or road freight for parcels greater than 500 grams.
All orders will include a handling charge of $9.00. For normal orders within Australia there is no additional postage or freight charge.
If you request other freight or courier arrangements these will be added to the order total.

Payment

No goods will be shipped until payment has been received in full.
Payment may be made by direct deposit or for credit cards through PayPal.

Direct deposit details will be provided when the order is ready to send.

PayPal - Payments can be made by using the Send Money option to sales@diymtb.com.au once we notify you that the order has been completed and ready to send. We can also send a PayPal invoice which includes instructions.

Credit Cards - Phone/Mail Order Payments by credit card are now available. Please call during business hours to make payments using VISA or Mastercard.

Dealer Pricing

Dealer pricing is available on most lines. Dealer pricing will only be given to genuine cycle shops and repairers. Payment and delivery conditions apply to dealers.

Customer Support

For all information on our products, before and after purchase, please contact us. We are only too happy to help with questions about product application or installation etc.

Refunds and Returns

All parts may be returned with 10 days if unused and in the original, intact, packaging. The full amount can then be used as a credit on other purchases.
Where a cash refund is requested a 10% re-stocking charge will apply.

Non-Performance

If a product fails to meet the manufacturers claims a full refund or replacement will be made upon the return of the goods accompanied by a statement by the purchaser of the nature of the failure.

NB: Before returning goods for any reason please contact DIY MTB first to make arrangements as appropriate.

Privacy

We only use your personal information for the purposes for which you gave it to us.
We do not share information about you with third parties without your permission unless it:
  • is necessary to provide you with a service that you have requested;
  • is required or authorised by law; or
  • will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody's health.
We analyse non-identifiable web site traffic data to improve our services. We do not use web bugs.
'Cookies' are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We implement cookies to maintain your session related information such as logon status and shopping cart.
Our privacy policies relate to customer information from all sources and communications. This includes the website, email and phone conversations.
